In response to Councilmember Zimmermart, City Administrator Schroeder explained it appears Sauter <br />and Sons Excavating intends to develop the property and the project will be designed with the loading <br />dock accessing the Azurite Street stub with customer parking accessing McKinley Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Counciimember Beyer to authorize staffto <br />solicit engineering proposals for the extension of McKinley Street a distance of 1,400 feet. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen, and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich updated the Council with regard to a recent favorable decision from the <br />Minnesota Court of Appeals regarding the Holmberg case. However, Holmberg intends to appeal <br />this decision to the Minnesota Supreme Court and has petitioned them to accept an appeal. He <br />advised the City has filed the appropriate response but it is not known if the Minnesota Supreme <br />Court will accept that appeal. If so, he anticipates a fairly long appeal process. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Peterson, and <br />Zimmerman.
