CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 23, 1996, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember S heila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson (Mayor pro tem) <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Glen Hardin <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:01 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Doug Fountain, 15255 Garnet Street NW, Ramsey, expressed concern about the left turn signal <br />being ignored at the intersection of Highway #10 and Armstrong Boulevard. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson offered that the City Engineer and the Police Chief could check the time <br />delay for the left turn signal. <br /> <br />Terry Hendriksen, 15631 Ramsey Boulevard NW, Ramsey, stated he was dropping his lawsuit <br />against the City because he could not condone the spending of the dollars that would be used to <br />fight him in court. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer asked that Consent Agenda Item #8 be placed on the regular agenda and <br />discussed as a case. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councihnembers Beyer, Zimmerman, Beahen and Peterson. Voting <br />No: None.
