Voting No: None. <br />Absent: Councilmembers Peterson and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />COUNC1L BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Home Care Month, November 1996 <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Loftus addressed the Council regarding a celebration of National Home Health Care week. <br />He read a proclamation that is being adopted nationwide to declare November as National Home <br />Care Month and to honor employees and clients in the Ramsey area. He also invited everyone to <br />attend a celebration at Mercy Hospital, 3931 Coon Rapids Boulevard, Thursday, November 14, 1996, <br />3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. He thanked the Council for the opportunity to speak and represent their <br />employees. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the Resolution <br />96-11-323 proclaiming Home Care Month, November 1996. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer. Voting No: None. <br />Absent: Councilmembers Peterson and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Introduce Ordinance to Amend Chapter 8 (Building and Housing) of the City <br />Code <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik introduced Planning Intern Kirk Skoog who will be working with staff <br />during the winter. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that an ordinance has been drafted to establish a 12-month time <br />limit for building exteriors to be completed and prevent buildings from becoming public nuisances. <br /> <br />City Council/November 12, 1996 <br /> Page 6 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
