BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Appoint Chair and Vice-Chair for 1996 <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to appoint Benjamin <br />Deemer as Chairperson and Charles LaDue as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Adjustment for <br />1996. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request for a Variance to Minimum Lot Size on Non-Riparian Lots; <br />Case of Good Value Homes <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik reported that Good Value Homes has submitted a request for a <br />variance to the minimum lot size requirements for non-riparian lots in the proposed plat of Sunfish <br />Estates. She advised that although the variance does not require DNR certification, they would like <br />documentation of the Board's decision. <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to amend//15 and #16 <br />in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Holland to add a finding to <br />read "The Planning Commission requested that the cul-de-sac be replaced with a second access <br />which, in part, contributed to the deficiency." <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board members Bawden, Holland, LaDue, <br />Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to adopt Resolution <br />//96-03-042 adopting Findings of Fact//0393 relating to a request for a variance from Good Value <br />Homes. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to approve Good Value <br />Home's request for a variance from Section 9.21.04 of the Ramsey City Code and adopt <br />Resolution g96-03-043 declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
