Motion by Board Member gawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to amend ~16 to read "will <br />not". <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to amend #17 to read "will <br />not". <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to insert #18 to state that <br />a letter from the DNR was received with obvious discrepancies stating corrections be made based on <br />some of the findings in the letter. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Thorud to adopt Resolution <br />#96-06-137 adopting Findings of Fact #0402 relating to L.A.N.D. Properties' request for a variance. <br /> <br />The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the terms of the variance. <br /> <br />Board Member Bawden observed that items #3 and ~4 of the variance covered the drainage issues <br />discussed in the public hearing and an agreement with the DNR should be reached. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to approve the issuance <br />of a variance for L.A.N.D. Properties from the Impervious Surface Restrictions in the Mississippi <br />River Critical Overlay District, based on the Findings of Fact #0402, and adopt Resolution #96-06- <br />138 declaring terms of the variance as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, Terry, Holland, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />BOARD INPUT <br /> <br />Board Member Jensen asked if there were any wake restrictions in Ramsey. Ms. Frolik stated that <br />this issue has been brought up in the past, but was dropped due to enforcement concerns. <br />Chairperson Deemer stated that the City of Anoka has a wake ordinance. Board Member Jensen <br />stated that there is a lot of action on the river and is concerned with the effect on the shoreline. <br />Chairperson Deemer stated that a wake ordinance would be a Planning Commission item. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment/June 4, 1996 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
