Chairperson Wagner volunteered to chair this year's event and both Chairperson Rohrer and
Chairperson Roff volunteered to serve as vice-chairs.

Mr. Gromberg was directed to contact the second golf course to get their bid for the next
Commission meeting. At that time, we should be able to determine the date and location of the
event.

Case #3: Highway #10 Corridor and Service Road Development

The City Council has directed the Economic Development Commission to review the development
of the Highway #10 corridor and the future development of service roads along the northern side
of the highway. In conjunction with the review, I have attached a map showing the layout of the
areas currently controlled by the City.

The City currently acquires road right-of-way when new development occurs.

The Commission reviewed the map and requested the following information for the next meeting:

Aerial map showing the lot lines and buildings as they are located along the section
of Highway #10 between Sunfish Lake Boulevard NW and Ramsey Boulevard

The City Engineer's suggestions as to the feasibility of the road construction,
stacking requirements, and the access to the road from the county roads

Estimated costs of the construction of the roadway

Based upon this information, the Commission will indicate on the map their suggestions for
location of the roadway and provide a recommendation to the City Council about the service road
construction.

STAFF INPUT

Copper Sales Project: The City has received a deposit by a division of Copper Sales to
develop a 30,000 square foot facility to be located in the second phase of the Business Park
95.

Monument Signs: The City has received the bids back for the smaller signs at the City
entrances. These signs should be approximately $75.00 each, resulting in a total cost of
$375.00. The signs should be ready for an early spring installation.

Economic Development Commission / February 1, 1996
Page 3 of 4
