FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 1996, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie hart <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Mark Boos <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:04 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: 1995 Budget Amendment <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart explained that once the year is complete, it is customary to provide Council <br />with a resolution amending budgets that had been formally adopted as well as creating budgets for <br />other funds based on Council's actions during the year and actual activity levels. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to recommend <br />Council adopt the resolution authorizing final budget amendment for the purpose of amending the <br />City's General Fund Budget and certain other budgets. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer, and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Review and Adopt the 1997 Budget Calendar <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart reminded Council that the Charter specifically states that a budget calendar <br />shall be established annually by resolution.
