FIRE BOARD <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Board conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember S heila Beyer <br />Chairperson Alan Pearson <br />Boardmember Jon McLaughlin <br />Boardmember Chris Weiss <br />Boardmember Chuck Williams <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Fire Chief Dean Kapler (ex-officio) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Pearson called the regular meeting of the Fire Board to order at 6:03 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Boardmember Weiss to approve the <br />following Fire Board meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1) Fire Board regular meeting minutes dated February 8, 1995 <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmember Beyer, Chairperson Pearson <br />and Boardmembers Weiss, McLaughlin and Williams. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Update on Alcohol/Drug Policy <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer provided a sample private sector policy and will forward the same <br />from the Centennial and draft Lexington Fire Department policies as well. She also noted <br />that Assistant State Fire Marshal Ray Geffrey is intending to forward a sample as well. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler will be gaining policies from other departments. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder will be working on a City-wide policy and will integrate the <br />Fire Department materials into this project. <br /> <br />Fire Board/April 12, 1995 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
