SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ran~ y City Council conducted a special meeting on Wednesday, June 2, 1993 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members lh'esent: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Glen Hardin <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Cfilbertson called the special City Council meeting to order at 5:10 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of Cedar Hills 2nd Addition; <br />Case of Trusek, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that this request for final plat approval of Cedar Hills <br />2nd Addition came before the City Council at their May 25, 1993 meeting. Council <br />recommen~ded final plat approval contingent upon minor revisions to the plat to <br />accommodate a through street. Mr. Tom Asfleford was present at the meeting and was not <br />in total asreement with the revisions. Council tabled the case at that meeting until Staff and <br />Mr. Asfleford could resolve the issue of the through street to Sunfish Square. <br /> <br />City Engi~!eer Jankowski stated that Staff met with the developers of Cedar Hills 2nd <br />Addition and Sunfish Square to discuss the reconfiguration of the street design with a <br />through s ~tr~t to Sunfish Square and explained further the benefits of this through street for <br />both subdivisions. <br /> <br />Mayor Oilbertson inquired of Mr. Astleford if he was in agreement with the street design to <br />which Mr. Asfleford replied he was. <br /> <br />Becky Lemke, 14361 Uranium Street N.W., Ramsey, inquired about a drainage utility <br />easement to which Mr. Jankowski stated that although none are shown on the document, it <br /> <br />Special City Council/June 2, 1993 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
