<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-01-023 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A CONSERVATION <br />EASEMENT IN THE SWEET BAY RIDGE SUBDIVISION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the open space enhances the health and diversity of natural plant and <br />wildlife communities; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the.Developer of the Sweet Bay Ridge subdivision has agreed to dedicate a <br />conservation easement over a portion of said subdivision to preserve the high quality natural <br />environment within. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. That the City clerk is hereby authorize to sign the conservation easement document on <br />behalf ofthe City for the acceptance ofthe dedicated easement; and, <br />2. That the City Clerk is directed to file and record said easement document. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />arid the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Olson <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-01-023 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
