<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-02-037 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION HIRING A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey began conducting a recruitment process for the <br />Community Development Director position in November 2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an interview panel of key stakeholders interviewed three finalists <br />and.recommended Amber Miller for the Community Development Director position. ' <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OFRAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1) Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Pass a motion hiring Amber Miller as the City's Community Development Director. <br />Ms. Miller will begin employment on March 24, 2008 at an .hourly rate of $38.44. <br />All personnel policies will apply normally. <br /> <br />The motion. for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />
