CITY COMMISSION <br /> <br />COUNCIL/PLANNING AND ZONING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council and the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special <br />joint meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 1991 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Chairman Gerald Zimmerman <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the special joint meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL AND COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Discuss Mutual Concerns on Zoning Issues and Review Expectations <br /> on the Part of the City Council and the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that City Council had 'discussed the status of the Comprehensive <br />Plan and the question was raised as to whether or not money should be spent to update this plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin commented that parts of the plan are inconsistent with the zoning in the <br />City. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson commented that with regard to performance standards, the rule is "one size fits <br />all".
