<br />FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Rusty Fifield, Northland Strategies <br />Paul Donna, Northland Strategies <br />Darren Lazan, Landform <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Look called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 4:45 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Look, Councilmembers Elvig and Wise. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Consider Proposal for Strategic Financial Planning Services <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report and introduced Darren Lazan from Landform. <br /> <br />Mr. Fifield reviewed with the Committee the revised scope of work for strategic financing <br />planning services. He stated that it will be important to. coordinate their efforts with the work <br />being performed by Landform, and added that he felt it makes sense to allocate some budget <br />dollars, whether in a lump sum or hourly amount, that allows Northland to continue to follow <br /> <br />Finance Committee / August 25, 2009 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
