PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Thursday, June 19, 1986 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br /> <br />CAL~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Gary Reimann called the special Council meeting to order 5:44 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None, <br /> <br />QouNG%L BUSINESS <br /> <br />Review The Nee4 For A Supervisor For Employees Working Under The <br /> "Work Program" For The City Of Ramsev: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to authorize <br />City Administrator David Hartley and Public Works Superintendent Merle Mevissen <br />to hire two temporary persons, within the City's budget, at a rate not to <br />exceed $5.00/hour for the purpose of supervising other employees under the <br />"Work Program". <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Cox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Heitman. <br /> <br />Case #2: Hiring Of Accounting Clerk: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to extend <br />an offer of employment as Accounting Clerk to Colleen Turbak at an annual <br />salary rate of $16,323 with an adjustment to $16,828 after the six month <br />probationary period. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
