TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION
Strategic Planning
Anita Duckor of Duckor & Associates was present to facilitate the meeting/session. She noted
the pre - assignment was to review the three -year strategic action plan and be ready to discuss it,
provide feedback and approve it. She pointed out that strategic imperative IV had been
eliminated because it was embedded in all the other strategic imperatives.
Staff presented their imperatives and talked about budget implications. Discussion ensued
relating to each imperative. Council discussed the budget implications and it was determined
that staff needed to work more on the imperatives and budget and come up with scenarios to
present — for example, what can be done status quo, and is there something in the middle of the
status quo and what was presented.
City Council Work Session /April 2, 2013
