CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:08 p.m. <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />2.01: Interview the Police Captain for the Police Chief Position <br />Human Resources Manager Colleen Lasher reviewed the staff report. She noted if the consensus <br />of the City Council is to appoint Captain Katers as the city's next Chief of Police, a case will be <br />brought forward to the City Council at the October 14, 2014 City Council meeting and the <br />process of back - filling will begin; if not, an external recruitment will be conducted. <br />Police Captain Jeff Katers entered the work session at 6:13 p.m. <br />Human Resources Manager Lasher asked the following questions: <br />1. Everyone here received a copy of your cover letter and resume.
