Councihnember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for,its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-12-324 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING EDA MEMBER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted an ordinance in 1997 limiting commission <br />members to two (2) consecutive four year terms plus any incomplete partial term; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. John Letourneau has served on the Economic Development Authority <br />for one partial term; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Letourneau has expressed an interest in being re-appointed to his first <br />full term; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to re-appoint Mr. Letourneau to the Economic Development <br />Authority for his first four-year term of 1/1/04-12/31/07. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councihnember Zimmennan <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />add the following abstained: <br /> <br />NODe <br /> <br />and the followiDg were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
