AIRPORT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Airport Commission conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />October 7, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Jack Ippel, Chairman <br />Mr. Dennis Donovan <br />Mr. Richard Emery <br />Mr. Virgil Barnes <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Consulting Engineer Merland Otto <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Dick Sieber <br />Mr. Don Stauffer <br />Mr. Don Greenberg <br />Mr. Ron Erickson <br />Mr. David Chapman <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel called the regular Airport Commission meeting to order at <br />7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AIRPORT COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve regular Airport Commission meeting minutes dated <br />September 9, 1987 as submitted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Review City Council Action Of..Septe~ber 22..1987: <br /> <br />Chairman Ippel stated that on September 22, 1987, Council reviewed the <br />Airport Commission recommendation to adopt the Airport Safety Zoning <br />Ordinance and if desired, hold a referendum on the issue of municipal <br />ownership of the airport in the second quarter of 1988 when all infora~tion <br />~s a¥~il~b]e. Counc~I tabled any action until October 13 in order that <br />concerned citizens could be aware that Council is again considering <br />adoption of the zoning ordinance and delaying the referendum.
