Presenl.-~<,ere Mr. Sorteberg, Mr. Wurm, Mr. Pittman, Mr. Sprin£~ier, Mr~ Ba~"stow and Mrs. Guy. The minutes of -i~i~e lsst stated meeting were read and accepted by unanimous vote. The minutes of the si:ectal meeting on June lgth were read and accepted t)y unanimous voteo Mr. Keith Gram and M~. ~3tephen Holasek were present with a plat on Highway No. 5 and 15~rd Ave. N. W. It has 29 lots in 37.70 acres. They will g:[~e money for parks. They said the engineer was making the soil ~orings and presenting them to the Township engineer. There was much discussion on 153rd Ave. This street is not finished and ]ot~ 2+ and 5 in block 2 have no way of getting out and therefo~-e could not get building permits. It was suggested Mr. Holasek get in touc~ with the people who own the land north of this area to sec if they would like to get together with him on a street here. Mr. Ho]a~ek also stated he wanted to develop one area at a time. This w-ould mean one street would be bonded at a time. ?~hen the lots in one block are sold then he would develop the next one. This has not been done in this township and the Commissior~. told him. theM did not know what view the Tova~ Board would take in such a situation. As far as 153rd Avenue is con- cerned, the Township na~ had a feasibility study done on this street but there has be(~,n no indication as to when this street might be cut through. The engineer in his report of June 29th on this plat stated in paragraph three "the plat indicates that 153rd Avenue exists the full. length of the north side of the plat. In fact, 153rd Avenue te~mninates 660 feet west of the easterly line of the ~oroposed plat. Therefore, access does not now exist for lots ~., 5~ and 6 of Bl_ock 2. Approval of this plat would require the cons;tru, ction of 153-~?d Avenue by the Township." Mr. Springer moved this plat be tentatively accepted if 153rd is going to be completed, that Lots 4 and 5 in Block 2 cannot receive building permits and if the engi~aeer's recommendations are carried out and the To~ Board will accept development of the plat by stages. After i!i[$rd is completed Lots g and 5 may receive building permits. Seconded by Mr. Sor'te~oo~'g. Motion carried, Venture Capital: Mr. ('~i~arles Weaver brought a sketch plan of the area along the I.~t~'~. }.'[i~:~~' between Brookview Estates and Barthel's Rum River Acres, The r¢~ is a six acre park on the river which seems to be very nice and Mr~ %'~eaver said he would pick up Mr. Springer later i~..~, the week and 'b,'~ke him up to look at the land. Some sug- gestions were made to avoid a cul de sac and come out to meet the road in Barthel's Rum [~i..ver Acres. Announceme~t: We hav~ '~)een told by the sheriff's office that no unlicensed motorcycle, motor bike or motor scooter can ride in ditches or on any par:~ of public roads.
