Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION
<br /> ON NOVEMBER 8, 2016
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be conducting a General Election on Tuesday,
<br /> November 8, 2016; and
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, election judges for
<br /> precincts in a municipality must be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the hourly rate of pay will be $9.00 for election judge trainees, $10.00 for
<br /> regular election judges and $11.00 for chairs.
<br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br /> 1) That the following individuals be appointed to serve as election judges for the General
<br /> Election to be held on November 8, 2016:
