Co uncilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-07-190 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 3D/I AND BKV GROUP PROPOSAL FOR DESIGN <br />DEVELOPMENT OF CITY HALL AND POLICE FACILITY AND AUTHORIZE THE <br />USE OF EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUNDS AND FACILITY CONSTRUCTION <br />FUND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a Space Needs Assessment, preliminary project planning, including <br />visioning and the development of building schemes will be completed in mid-August for the City <br />Hall and Police Facility; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to provide for continued design work for the City Hall and Police Facility <br />project, staff bas received a proposal from BKV Group and 3D/I for Design Development. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes proceeding with the proposal <br />fi'om 3D/I and BKV Group for Design Development and Visioning for City Hall and <br />Police Station at a cost not to exceed $822,000. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of an inter-fund loan from <br />thc Equipment Replacement Fund and the Facility Construction Fund to cover the costs <br />of the work as proposed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommcn and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councihncmber <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />Elvig <br />Strommen <br />Cook <br />Kurak <br />Pearson <br />Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the lbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />llOlle <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />llOllC <br /> <br /> <br />
