Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #18-019 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONVEYANCE OF A PERMANENT INGRESS/ EGRESS EASEMENT FROM MK JOHNSON PROPERTIES LLC, LOT 1, BLOCK 1, COR STONE BROOK ACADEMY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA. WHEREAS , MK Johnson LLC entered into a Purchase Agreement with the City of Ramsey to construct a roughly 9,100 square foot children’s academy within the City of Ramsey on March 15, 2017, contingent upon Submitting a Permanent Ingress/ Egress Easement; and WHEREAS , on June 01, 2017, the City Council adopted Resolution #17-06-127 granting Preliminary and Final Plat and Site Plan Approval for COR Stone Brook Academy, contingent on submitting a Permanent Ingress/ Egress Easement; and WHEREAS , MK Johnson LLC., the owner of Lot 1, Block 1 COR Stone Brook Academy, has agreed to convey to the City of Ramsey a Permanent Ingress/ Egress Easement. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1)That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the acceptance of a Permanent Ingress/ Egress Easement from MK Johnson LLC over a portion of Lot 1, Block 1 COR Stone Brook Academy. 2)That the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the City Administrator and Mayor to sign any and all documents necessary to execute and record said Permanent Ingress/ Egress Easement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Strommen Councilmember Kuzma Councilmember Johns Councilmember LeTourneau Councilmember Riley Councilmember Shryock and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
