Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #19-036 <br />RESOLUTION TO RATIFY THE PARKS LEAD WORKER RECLASSIFCATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the strategic plan identifies the City Council's desire to maintain an <br />effective organization and to reclassify jobs in an effort to retain employees; and <br />WHEREAS, staff identified one position to be addressed at this time; and <br />WHEREAS, the 2019 budget accounts for the position reclassifications; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the following: Reclassify the current Parks Maintenance <br />Worker, Terry Byron, to Parks Lead Worker, at step 4 of the new wage scale, which is $29.59 <br />per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution 419-036 to Approve Position Reclassifications, effective as of <br />January 23, 2019, as follows: <br />Reclassify the current Parks Maintenance Worker, Terry Byron, to Parks Lead Worker, at <br />step 4 of the new wage scale, which is $29.59 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Existing Vacancy <br />
