• <br /> CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, January 29, <br /> 2019, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Mayor John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Nadine Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br /> Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> City Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl <br /> Economic Development Manager Sean Sullivan <br /> Elwyn Tinklenberg of The Tinklenberg Group <br /> Angie Bersaw of Bolton& Menk <br /> Ross Tillman of Bolton& Menk <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor LeTourneau called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> 2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> 2.01: Continue Discussion on Ramsey Gateway Project (Highway 10 Plan) <br /> Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br /> Angie Bersaw, Bolton & Menk, provided a summary of the 2014 study that was completed and <br /> the variety of options that were left on the table for discussion. She explained that the goal of <br /> this study is to identify one vision which will allow planning for the future and positioning for <br /> future funding. She noted that a history of the study was reviewed in December and the goal at <br /> this time is to gain additional input to allow the process to continue to move forward. She stated <br /> that the general options that were available for the different intersections were reviewed at the <br /> last meeting. She stated that the technical working group has been continuing to work through <br /> the options, weighing the pros and cons of each, to determine which options are recommended <br /> for dismissal before moving to the public meeting phase. <br /> Ms. Bersaw presented a potential concept for the Ramsey Boulevard intersection of Highway 10. <br /> City Council Work Session/January 29,2019 <br /> Page 1 of 9 <br />
