• CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mayor John LeTourneau Councilmember Nadine Heinrich Councilmember Mark Kuzma Councilmember Debra Musgrove Councilmember Chris Riley Councilmember Melody Shryock Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill City Engineer Bruce Westby City Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl Economic Development Manager Sean Sullivan Elwyn Tinklenberg of The Tinklenberg Group Angie Bersaw of Bolton& Menk Ross Tillman of Bolton& Menk 1. CALL TO ORDER Mayor LeTourneau called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:30 p.m. 2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION 2.01: Continue Discussion on Ramsey Gateway Project (Highway 10 Plan) Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report. Angie Bersaw, Bolton & Menk, provided a summary of the 2014 study that was completed and the variety of options that were left on the table for discussion. She explained that the goal of this study is to identify one vision which will allow planning for the future and positioning for future funding. She noted that a history of the study was reviewed in December and the goal at this time is to gain additional input to allow the process to continue to move forward. She stated that the general options that were available for the different intersections were reviewed at the last meeting. She stated that the technical working group has been continuing to work through the options, weighing the pros and cons of each, to determine which options are recommended for dismissal before moving to the public meeting phase.
