Councilmember Elvig introduced the folloWing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> REsoLuTION #04-12-374 <br /> <br />RESOI.UTION AUTHORIZING T 'RANsFER OF $1,750.00 FROM THE COUNCIL <br />CONTINGENCY FUND TOi THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />BUDGET TO ENGAGE THE! SERVICES OF MARK NAGEL FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />ESTABLISHING A HRA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is appropriate to utilize the services <br />of a consultant to establish a HRA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council Contingency Fund is established for the purpose of <br />covering unanticipated costs; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, City Council accepts City Staff's recommendation to hire consultant, Mark <br />Nagel, to assist the City in establishing a HRA. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY,' STATE' OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes utilizing the services of Mark <br />Nagel to assist the City in the formation cfa HRA and its by-laws. <br /> <br />2) Funding will be provided by a transfer from the City Council Contingency Fund to the <br /> Community Development Department budget in an amount not to exceed $1,750.00. <br /> <br />Thc motion FOl' the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pcarson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Counci Imember Elvig <br />Counci lmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Counci hnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />~JOllC <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
