CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL WORK SESSION <br /> CITY OF RASMEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Special Work/Strategic Planning Session on <br /> Tuesday, March 13, 2019, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, <br /> Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Mayor John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Nadine Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Melody Shryock <br /> Vacancy <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br /> Finance Director Diana Lund <br /> Community Development Director Tim Gladhill <br /> Police Chief Jeff Katers <br /> Fire Chief Matt Kohner <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br /> Administrative Services Director Colleen Lasher <br /> Economic Development Director Sean Sullivan <br /> Parks & Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Communications & Events Coordinator Megan Thorstad <br /> Welcome / Call to Order / Dinner Served. Mayor LeTourneau called the meeting to order at <br /> 5:50 p.m. City Administrator Ulrich and Mayor LeTourneau welcomed everyone and announced <br /> that Mayor LeTourneau would facilitate the session this evening. He reviewed rules of <br /> engagement. It was noted that each year the City Council and the City's leadership staff review <br /> the City's strategic plan and make updates as necessary. Mayor LeTourneau played a short <br /> leadership video called "Greatness"by David Marquet. <br /> Review Agenda and Meeting Objectives. The agenda was noted and agreed upon. Upon request <br /> by Mayor LeTourneau, all participants shared an example of their number one reason for choosing <br /> the City of Ramsey. Each participant took turns briefly explaining why they first came to the City <br /> of Ramsey. <br /> Review Values,Vision,Mission,and Objectives Developed at the Previous Work Session.All <br /> participants discussed and provided feedback regarding the strategic plan. Community <br /> Development Director Tim Gladhill entered the recommendations into a red-lined working <br /> strategic plan document. <br /> Strategic Planning Session—March 13, 2019 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
