TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION
2.01: Continued Discussion of 2020-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report.
Councilmember Riley referenced the Ramsey Boulevard rail separation project cost estimate
projected over the next three years. He stated that it does not seem likely that element is going to
move forward that quickly and suggested the project be moved to 2023.
City Engineer Westby agreed that it would make sense to modify the CIP to reflect the Highway
10 improvement projects as those rail project and frontage road improvements would occur in
conjunction with the Highway 10 project. He recognized that some design work would be
completed in advance and provided a more accurate time projection.
City Council Work Session/November 18,2019
Page 1 of 14
