• • { OLD Rk [2 fir ,, - 1= 00 -09 - , 2 : �r Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00 -08 -195 RESOLUTION AMENDING 2000 SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES WHEREAS, the current Schedule of Rates and Charges adopted by the Ramsey City Council under Resolution #99 -12 -230 on December 14, 1999, establishes a plan check fee equal to 65% of the building permit fee; and WHEREAS, the Schedule of Rates and Charges does not take into consideration that a plan check is only performed on the first structure in multi - family developments consisting of 2 or more identical structures; and WHEREAS, the City Building Official has recommended that the plan check fee for the second and subsequent building permits for identical structures within a multi- family project area be charged a Fifty Dollar ($50.00) administrative fee versus the 65% plan check fee. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the 2000 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges is hereby amended to establish that • the plan check fee on building permits for second and subsequent identical multi - family structures is replaced with a $50.00 administrative fee. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Connolly and the following voted against: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
