• • Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00 -03 -070 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00 -27 (SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN EXTENSION TO B & B CARPET AND CITY WIDE DOOR CO.) WHEREAS, pursuant to petition received from B & B Carpet, a report has been prepared by John Oliver and Associates, Inc. with reference to Improvement Project #00 -27 (Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Extension to B & B Carpet and City Wide Door Co.); and WHEREAS, the report was received by the City of Ramsey on March 28, 2000 which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project Estimated total assessment Estimated assessment for B & B Carpet (10 -year term) Estimated assessment for City Wide Door Co. (10 -year term) *Includes associated trunk costs. $ 92,482.00 $175,208.00* $ 61,631.53* $113,576.47* NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of sanitary sewer and watermain extension to B & B Carpet and City Wide Door Co. in accordance with the report and the assessment of butting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $92,482. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement at 7:00 p.m. on the 25 day of April, 2000, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen
