Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-04-099 <br /> <br />RES¢)I~UTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT <br />AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO BEGIN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR AN <br />ACCOUNTANT I <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Linda Mayer works for the City as a full-time, regular Senior Accountant <br />;.tnd be, gan work on January 4, 1993; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Mayer has submitted a letter of resignation from her position effective <br />April 8, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to accept Linda Mayer's resignation from the Senior Accountant <br />position <br /> <br />2) That the effective date of Ms. Mayer's resignation is April 8, 2005; and <br /> <br />That staff is authorized to begin the recruitment process to hire an Accountant I to replace <br />the Senior Accountant position. <br /> <br />~l'he motion ~br adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, Councilmember <br />Cook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councihnember Strommen <br /> <br />mad the [bllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />NoDe <br /> <br />and the fbltowing abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
