Monday, August 16, 2021 6:30 pm — Environmental Policy Board — Council Chambers Preview of Next Week The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority is hosting the annual Business Appreciation Day Golf Tournament and recognition of the 2021 Ramsey Business of the Year on Tuesday, August 17. Teams of four will play an 18 hole "Best Ball" scramble with prizes and giveaways followed by an in -person prime rib dinner banquet and award presentation. Check in is at 10:00 am with a shotgun start at 11:00 am. Economic Development Authority (7:30 am — CC) • Appoint Chairperson and Vice Chairperson • Recommend 2022 EDA Budget and Levy • Consider Recommendation to Approve Establishment of TIF District 18, TIF Plan, and TIF Agreement; Case of Oppidan • Consider Renovation and Lease of Old Town Hall Park and Recreation Commission (6:30 pm — Rivers' Bend Park — South Shelter) • Playground Replacement Policy Council Update Community Partners needed for Adopt -a -Flag Program. The City of Ramsey is gathering sponsorships as part of its Adopt -a -Flag program. The Adopt -a -Flag Program calls for community partners — both in the business and residential community — to sponsor a flag that will be affixed to a light pole along Sunwood Drive. A Friends -of -the -Flag Level Sponsorship is $50 and a Patriot Level Sponsorship is $500. This covers the cost of supplies as well as an engraved plaque which will be on display at Ramsey City Hall. Patriot Sponsors will also have an engraved nameplate affixed to the light pole. Adopting a flag can also serve as a symbol to honor the memory of a loved one. Assist City staff with multiple ongoing City functions, projects and events including a variety of land use planning and zoning administration activities, processing applications for conditional use permits and enforcement of sign regulations, along with attending the monthly Planning Commission
