<br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Ryan Heineman <br />Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br />Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Fire Chief Matt Kohner <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br /> Administrative Services Director Colleen Lasher <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />IT Manager Jason Fredrickson <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Kuzma called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:33 p.m. <br /> <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />2.01: Discussion Regarding Non-Union Compensation <br /> <br />Administrative Services Director Lasher reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove asked if there would be information coming back related to other staff <br />that might be impacted by this. <br /> <br />Administrative Services Director Lasher commented that there are several male classes that show <br />below the average market, and it is the intent to discuss that as part of the budget discussions. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that may be a part of union discussions as well. <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove asked if this formula would perhaps ramp down with new hires. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / July 13, 2021 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
