Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-216 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTINUATION OF CONSULTING SERVICES <br />WITH THE TINKLENBBERG GROUP REGARDING THE RAMSEY TH10 ACCESS <br />MANAGEMENT PROJECT WITH A FLAT FEE OF $6,000 PER MONTH FOR A <br />PERIOD OF TWELVE MONTHS COMMENCING MAY 2005 WITH A TRANSFER OF <br />FUNDS FROM THE COUNCIL CONTENGENCY TO THE BUDGET OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City has used The Tinklenberg Group as a transportation consultant <br />since 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Tinklenberg Group is asking for a $6,000 per month retainer, for a <br />period of 12 months, regarding the Highway 10 Access transportation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the contract commences for the period beginning May 2005 and set to end <br />April 2006; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funding for the Tinklenberg contract would be funded from the current <br />2005 budget of the Community development department in the amount of $28,000, $24,000 from <br />the proposed 2006 General Fund Budget of Community Development, and the remaining <br />$20,000 would be obtained with a transfer from the 2005 Council Contingency Fund to the <br />budget of Community Development. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the continuation of the Ramsey TH 10 <br />Access Management Project with The Tinklenberg Group in the fixed amount of $6,000 <br />for a period of 12 months with the contract having commenced May 2005 for a total of <br />$72,000 with funding from the 2005 & 2006 General Fund budgets of Community <br />Development in the amounts of $28,000 and $24,000, respectively, with the remainder of <br />$20,000 requiring a transfer from the 2005 Council Contingency Fund to the budget of <br />Community Development. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> <br /> <br />
