CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at <br /> the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Councilmember Ryan Heineman (attended remotely) <br /> Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> Members Absent: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br /> Administrative Services Director Colleen Lasher <br /> Deputy City Administrator/Community Dev. Director Brian Hagen <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Economic Development Manager Sean Sullivan <br /> City Attorney Fritz Knaak <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Riley called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> 2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> 2.01: Review Visual Quality Options for Ramsey Gateway Highway 10 Interchanges <br /> City Engineer Westby reviewed the staff report regarding several existing visual aesthetic <br /> treatments along Highway 10 both at the Armstrong Boulevard on the west end of the two proposed <br /> interchanges and to obtain Council direction. <br /> Mr. Dan Lonnes, Bolton & Menk, gave a presentation on the timeline, structural components of <br /> the project, and led a discussion of the decisions that need to be made in the next few months. Mr. <br /> Lonnes asked the Council for a desired precedence for bridges and walls. He stated they are <br /> looking for direction on railing wall form, colors, and logos. He asked if they would concur with <br /> moving forward with the theme from Armstrong Boulevard.
