<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION #22-143
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION
<br />ON AUGUST 9, 2022
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be conducting a Primary Election on Tuesday,
<br />August 9, 2022; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, election judges for
<br />precincts in a municipality must be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the hourly rate of pay will be $10.33 for election judge trainees, $10.33 for
<br />regular election judges and $11.33 for head judges; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, when necessary, regular City staff working as judges on election day will be
<br />paid their normal hourly wage.
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br />
<br />1) That the following individuals be appointed to serve as election judges for the Primary
<br />Election to be held on August 9, 2022:

<br />Susan Fox, John Freeburg, Colleen Graber, Ashley Handberg, Deb Hanson, Gena Hatton,
<br />Brian Heigl, Andrea Hillebregt, Peggy Howe, Lana Howell, Douglas Johnson, Diana
<br />Johnson, Mariann Johnson, Mary Ann Kellner, Louise Kvick, James Lahr, Sheila Lemke,

<br />3) That Council authorize staff to train and hire additional election judges not named here
<br />should the need arise.
