Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ENDING LEAD PERSON RESOLUTION #05-10-362 THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR THE UTILITIES WHEREAS, John Nelson began working as the City's Utilities Lead Person on January 12, 2005 and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, Mr. Nelson has successfully completed the required six-month probationary period; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 12, 2005 meeting agreed with staff's recommendation to end the probationary period for John Nelson, effective July 12, 2005. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for John Nelson, effective July 12, 2005. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi Mayor Gamec Councilmember Cook Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Olson Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council the 12th day of July 2005. < Mayor TT . -.
