<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-178 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSTRUCTION STAKING SERVICES <br />PROPOSAL FOR 2023 MSA PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br />IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEENT PROJECT #23-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous <br />Municipal State Aid (MSA) street segments in 2023 as identified within the 2023 – 2032 Capital <br />Improvement Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-250, adopted November <br />th <br />7, 2022, the City Council accepted and awarded the proposal to Bolton & Menk, Inc., for <br />topographic survey of the project area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-287, adopted December <br />13, 2022, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for <br />Improvement Project #23-06, 2023 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-083, adopted April 25, <br />rd <br />2023, the City Council approved adding streets within the Rivenwick 3 and Rivenwick Village <br />subdivisions to Improvement Project #23-06; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-141, adopted June 27, <br />2023, the City Council approved plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and <br />authorized advertisement for bids for said improvement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-169, adopted July 25, <br />2023, the City Council accepted the bid of North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the <br />amount of $498,917.55 for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with <br />the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, proposals were received for construction staking services of $2,304.00 from <br />Bolton & Menk for said improvements and their proposal shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to accept said Bolton <br />& Menk proposal for construction staking services for said improvements on behalf of the <br />City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
