Mayor Gamec ~ntroduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #80-91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: <br /> <br />a) 154th Lane N.W., lying between Barium Street N.W. and <br /> Argon Street N.W. <br /> <br />Barium Street N.W. from the North boundary of the <br />Halland Acres plat to the South boundary line of <br />said plat. <br /> <br />c) Argon Street N.W., from 154th Lane to the South <br /> boundary line of the plat. <br /> <br />Ail of the above streets are located in the Southeast <br />Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Mirmesota. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $28,350 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$5,820 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $34,170 ; and <br />of this cost the City will pay $ as its share of the cost, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is <br />hereby declared to be $34,170. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer <br />Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assess- <br />able lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without re- <br />gard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of <br />such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed <br />assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Reimarm <br /> <br /> <br />
