Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #81-125 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Council on August 25, 1981, <br />the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost <br />of the improving the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 156th Lane N.W. between the line of Juniper Ridge Drive <br /> and the east line of Woodland Green Estates <br /> <br />b) Juniper Ridge Drive from approximately 400 feet north <br /> of 156th Lane N.W. south and east to its end. <br /> <br />c) Waco Street N.W. between the line of Juniper Ridge <br /> Drive south to its end. <br /> <br />d) Salish Street N.W. between the line of Juniper Ridge <br /> Drive south to its end. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such pro- <br />posed assessment has been completed and filed in his office for public in- <br />spection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of September, 1981, <br />in the City Hall at 7:20 P.M. to pass on such proposed assessment and at <br />such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- <br />ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the <br />hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official <br />newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and he shall state in <br />thc notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed <br />notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and <br />Cox <br /> <br /> <br />
