Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #82-43 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRICE QUOTES AND AWARDING BID FOR STORM PANELS IN <br />REAR OR LOBBY AREA OF RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PURSUANT TO CALL FOR PRICE QUOTES FOR STORM PANELS <br />1N THE REAR OF THE LOBBY AREA OF THE Ramsey Municipal Center, the follow- <br />ing price quotes were received: <br /> <br />Bidder Base Bid Alternate #1 <br /> <br />Heat Mizer Glass, Inc. <br /> <br />$784.00 $1,616.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Heat Mizer Glass, Inc. Base Bid <br />in the amount of $784.00 had the best price quote, however, considering <br />energy costs Alternate Bid #1 in the amount of $1,616.00 would be more <br />practical. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council accepted the price quote from Heat Mizer <br />Glass, Inc. Alternate Bid #1 in the amount of $1,616.O0 taking into con- <br />sideration future energy costs. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to inform Heat Mizer Glass, Inc. of their action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann <br />and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council this the 29th day of March, 1982. <br /> <br /> Mayo r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />mingstr~t~r/C~dr-k-- <br /> <br /> <br />
