Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-30 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following streets with sealcoating: a) 154th Lane N.W. between the line of County Road #83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.) and the west plat boundary of Whispering Pines Estates Plat #4. b) 154th Avenue N.W. between the line of Eland Street N.W. and the west plat boundary of Whispering Pines Estates Plat #4. c) 153rd Lane N.W. between the line of Eland Street N.W. and the west plat boundary of Whispering Pines Estates Plat #4. d) Eland Street N.W. between the line of 153rd Lane N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the proposed improvement be referred to Mr. Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember $orteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmember Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: Nona whcreupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of March, 1983.
