Counci 1 member Sorteberg <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-97 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />State of Minnesota approved of the establishing of the new position of <br />Accounting/Data Processing Clerk I and authorized the City to advertise <br />for said position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator and City Accountant tested <br />and conducted interviews of the top ten applicants on Friday, May 27, 1983 <br />and Wednesday, June 1, 1983 and then interviewed the top three of those <br />applicants on Friday, June 3, 1983. Please review Exhibit "A" which is <br />furnished under separate cover which sets forth the criteria used in pro- <br />cessing the proposed candidate for the Accounting/Data Processing Clerk <br />I position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Council Personnel Committee met at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m., June 6, 1983 to act on the City <br />Administrator's memo contained in the above Exhibit. Please refer to <br />the minutes of the Personnel Committee dated June 6, 1983 for their <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> l) That the City of Ramsey hire Ms. Kathleen Johnson for <br />the position of Accounting/Data Processing Clerk I with the following <br />requirements: <br /> <br />a) Effective Date of Employment - This is hereby <br /> established as June 27, 1983. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Probationary Period - The probationary period <br />will be in accordance with City Code which will <br />be for a period of six months expiring December <br />31, 1983. Prior to the expiration of Ms. Johnson's <br />probationary status, the City Administrator will <br />make a report to the Council Personnel Committee <br />on her work performance. The Council Personnel <br />Committee will make their recommendation to the <br />Council who will either approve by motion her <br />satisfactorily completing the probationary period/ <br />extend it/terminate employment. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Salary Schedule - The following salary schedule <br />is hereby established for Ns. Johnson for the <br />position of Accounting/Data Processing Clerk I : <br /> <br />1st six months: <br />2nd six months: <br />3rd six months: <br />4th six months: <br />5th six months: <br />6th six months: <br />3rd year: <br /> <br />$11,985 <br /> 12,330 <br /> 12,680 <br /> 13.035 <br /> 13,385 <br /> 13,735 <br /> 14,090 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
