Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-105 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DELETING SEALCOATING IMPROV~IENT PROJECT #83-10 (MENKVELDS <br />COUNTRY PARK) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted the <br />26th day of April, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed <br />sealcoating improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 164th Lane N.W. between Uranium Street N.W. and the <br />west plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. <br /> <br />b) 163rd Lane N.W. between Wolfram Street N.W. and the <br />east plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. <br /> <br />c) Wolfram Street N.W. between 164th Lane N.W. and the <br />south plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. <br /> <br />d) Uranium Street N.W. between the south plat boundary <br />of Menkvelds Country Park and the north plat boundary of <br />Menkvelds Country Park. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice <br />of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 14th day <br />of June, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an oppor- <br />tunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the public hearing it was noted the street was con- <br />structed less than five (5) years ago and the City's policy is to sealcoat <br />streets five (5) years and older. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby deletes the Menkvelds <br />Country Park from the sealcoating projects of 1983 due to the fact the streets <br />in this plat were constructed less than five (5) years ago and said deletion <br />will be keeping in the City's policy to sealcoat streets five (5) years and <br />older. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmenber Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
