Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-105 RESOLUTION DELETING SEALCOATING IMPROV~IENT PROJECT #83-10 (MENKVELDS COUNTRY PARK) WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted the 26th day of April, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed sealcoating improvement of the following streets: a) 164th Lane N.W. between Uranium Street N.W. and the west plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. b) 163rd Lane N.W. between Wolfram Street N.W. and the east plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. c) Wolfram Street N.W. between 164th Lane N.W. and the south plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. d) Uranium Street N.W. between the south plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park and the north plat boundary of Menkvelds Country Park. WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 14th day of June, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an oppor- tunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, at the public hearing it was noted the street was con- structed less than five (5) years ago and the City's policy is to sealcoat streets five (5) years and older. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby deletes the Menkvelds Country Park from the sealcoating projects of 1983 due to the fact the streets in this plat were constructed less than five (5) years ago and said deletion will be keeping in the City's policy to sealcoat streets five (5) years and older. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmenber Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None Page 1 of 2
