Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOL~TION {83-172 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT FOR RAMSEY CENTRAL PARK ({83-17) TO FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING W~E~EAS, the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #83-115 awarding bid to Forest Lake Contracting for park improvement at Ramsey Central Park; and WHEREAS, Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., Ramsey's City Engineer, has recommended final payment be made to Forest Lake Contracting and the 5% payment withheld until the lower areas have been graded to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council, City of Ramsey hereby authorizes final payment to Forest Lake Contracting with 5% of the payment withheld until the lower areas have been graded to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. 2) That the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in Resolution #83-189 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on September 27, 1983 approving payment of the bills for the month of September. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the.following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of September, 1983.
