Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~84-44 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's adopted 1984 City Budget authorizes the p. urchase of the following listed pieces of public works equipment by certificate of indebtedness: a) Tractor b) Chipper c) Street sweeper WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey, at their meeting of February Zd, 1984, authorized the City to prepare plans and specifications for Council review. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The plans and specifications for the above stated equipment have been received and are hereby approved. Z) It is directed that the City of Ramsey advertise for bids on the above equipment. It is further directed that bids be submitted by 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 1984 to the City Administrator for opening, at which time they will be reviewed and tabulated for submission to the City Council. The Council will receive the bids at their regular meeting of April Z4, 1984. 3) It is further directed that the City Administrator report to the Council on the administrative process for the execution of certificate of indebtedness at this meeting. 4) It is directed that the following departments be furnished a copy of this resolution: Public Works Superintendent City Accountant The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the Z7th day of March, 1984.
