Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION %84-218 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR BERGERSON CASWELL, INC. (PROJECT %84-13 MUNICIPAL W~. NO. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted this resolu- tion approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution %84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities. AND WHEREA~, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution %84-147 awarding the bid to Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for the construction of Mun- icipal Well No. 1; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated October 16, 1984 to Berg- erson Caswell, Inc. in the amount of $13,845.30. NOW ~{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~lqE CIT~ COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for Municipal Well No. 1 in the a- mount of $13,845.30. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #84-222 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on October 23, 1984 that approved payment of the bills for the month of October. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: Councilmember Schlueter
