Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-45 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON SEALCOATING <br />IMPROVEMENT (985-6 161st & Llama Street N.W.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Ramsey City <br />Council adopted January 22, 1985, a report has been prepared by <br />Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with <br />reference to the sealcoating improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> <br />1) 161st Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street <br />N.W. and Llama Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) Llama Street N.W. between 161st Avenue N.W. <br />and 163rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City <br />Council on February 27, 1985 which report indicates the <br />following: <br /> <br />Estimated Total Cost of Project <br />Total Assessed front feet <br />Estimated Cost Per Front <br /> Foot <br /> <br />$12,492.00 <br /> <br />$1;319 <br /> <br />NOW TH EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the <br />sealcoating improvement of such streets in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a <br />portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to the Ramsey <br />City Charter at an estimated total cost of the improvement of <br />$12,492.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such <br />proposed improvement on the 9th day of April, 1985 in the Council <br />Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 P.M. and the City <br />Administrator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of <br />such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter, <br />Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> Resolution #85-45 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
