Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-51 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON SEALCOATING <br />IMPROVEMENT (#85-12 Sorteberg's First Addition) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Ramsey City <br />Council adopted January 22, 1985, a report has been prepared by <br />Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. with <br />reference to the sealcoating improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> <br />1) 159th Lane N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br />(County Road #83) and Xenolith Street N.W. ) <br /> <br />2) Xenolith Street N.W. between 161st Avenue N.W. <br />and 159th Lane N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City <br />Council on February 27, 1985 which report indicates the <br />fol lowi ng: <br /> <br />Estimated Total Cost of Project <br />Estsimated Total Assessment <br /> per unit (individual property <br /> owner cost) <br />Estimated Annual Assessment <br /> per unit (3 year term) 1st year <br /> 2nd year <br /> 3rd year <br /> <br />$ 4,006.00 <br /> <br />235.65 <br /> <br />102.11 <br /> 94.26 <br /> 86.40 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the <br />sealcoating improvement of such streets in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a <br />portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to the Ramsey <br />City Charter at an estimated total cost of the improvement of <br />$4,006.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such <br />proposed improvement on the 9th day of April, 1985 in the Council <br />Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 P.M. and the City <br />Administrator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of <br />such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Resolution #85-51 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
