Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 985-86 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR A & K CONSTRUCTION, INC. (PROJECT 984-13 PUMPHOUSE NO. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution 984-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-213 awarding t'he bid to A & K Construction, Inc. for the construction of Pumphouse No. 1) and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc.- recommended partial payment in his letter dated March 18, 1985 to A & K Construction. Inc. in the amount of $10,795-47. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA (IX~H~, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to A & K Construction, Inc- for Pumphou~ No. 1 in theamount of $10,795.47. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form forthisparti~payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #85-84 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on April 23, 1985. approving payment of the bills for the month of April. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be ~ov~ed a si~ed ~ of ~is resol~ion. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cox, Sorteberg and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None and the following was absent: Mayor Heitman Page I of 2
