Mayor Heitman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESf~UTION #85-111 <br /> <br />RF~UTION RECE~ PRICE QUOTES AND AWARDING BID FOR A SIDE MOUNTED FLAIL <br />M~ FOR THE RAMSEY S~REET DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to call for price quotes for a side mounted flail <br />mower for the Ramsey Street Department, the following price quotes were <br />received: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNTOF BID <br /> <br />Long Lake Ford <br /> <br />$7,244 plus $616 for oil and <br />mounting; TOTAL BID: $7,860.00 <br /> <br />Itasca ~qui~ment Co. <br /> <br />$7,364 plus $500 for mounting <br />TOTAL BID: $7,864.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Long Lake Ford's bid in the amount of <br />$7,860.00 was the best price quote. <br /> <br />NG~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESC~VED BY THE CITY 00~NCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows.' <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council accepted the price quote from Long Lake <br />Ford, but deducted the $616.00 for oil and mounting and directed the Public <br />Works Department transport theCity tractor to Long Lake Ford in order to have <br />the side mounted flail mower attached. The total accepted bid was $7,244.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and <br />directed to inform all who sutmitted price quotes of Council's action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilm~ber Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilm~mbers Reimann, Cox, Schlueter and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the llth day of June, 1985. / <br /> <br /> Mayor / <br /> <br /> receipt of this ATTEST: <br />I hereby acknowledge <br />resolution: <br /> <br /> <br />
